I haven’t been able to view one of my pages in the VS designer for several weeks. Just gave me a stacktrace. I tried to figure it out a couple times but could never find the source of the problem. VS just didn’t give me any help in narrowing down the cause.
I opened up Blend to work on some custom styles and it tells me exactly where the error is. Apparently I had placed a textblock style on a textbox. Thanks Blend!
The moral of this story is when in xaml doubt open it in Blend. I should’ve been working in Blend the whole time but I’m not there yet. One day I’ll learn all this stuff. Its a fun ride.
